Overview
Overview is the project's landing page. It answers the broadest question — what is the state of this project right now? — and it serves as the parent of four sub-surfaces that look at state from different angles: Schematic (current system, visual), Resources (current system, tabular), Setup Snapshot (frozen at cutover), and Changes (what's drifted since cutover).
What the page shows
- Settings gate banner — appears below the scoreboard when Google is not yet connected. The whole banner links to Settings.
- Scoreboard — four tiles at the top: Site status (Live / Not live yet, plus cutover date once live), Stages verified (N / 6, with the list of verified stage names), Publish confirmation (Ready / Pending), and Last activity (most recent validation check).
- Stats — three panels under a Stats heading: Setup (start date, last change, profile, publish confirmation), Activity (last activity, audit runs, validation checks run, saved resources, GSS-created artifacts), and Runtime (server domain, DNS check, etc.).
Setup stage navigation lives in the left sidebar (under the Setup item) and inside the Setup overview page itself — Overview does not render the pipeline strip.
Sub-surfaces under Overview
- Schematic — current state, visual. A clickable map of the resources and event paths used by the project.
- Resources — current state, tabular. An inventory of the external artifacts the project has in Google Cloud, Tag Manager, and Analytics.
- Setup Snapshot — the frozen record of how the project was set up at cutover. Post-live only.
- Changes — the delta between the cutover snapshot and the current state. Post-live only.
How Overview relates to other pages
Overview is a state surface. The two operations surfaces sit alongside it: Health answers whether the system is fit to serve right now, and Monitoring answers whether the tagging service is being watched by Cloud Monitoring. Use Overview when you want a project snapshot; use Health or Monitoring when you want operational signal.
Pre-live behavior
Before cutover, Site status reads "Not live yet" and the scoreboard reflects whatever setup the project has done so far. Setup Snapshot and Changes sub-items are hidden — they only become available after Go Live. The Schematic and Resources sub-pages render as usual.
